How to Adjust the Tri-Glide Slide Buckles

Don't worry if the harness doesn't fit perfectly out of the bag. Each strap runs through a tri-glide slider that lets you take it in or let it out in seconds.

  • 1. Loosen first Slide each tri-glide toward the strap end so the harness goes on easily.
  • 2. Clip both buckles Fasten the two side buckles and centre the chest plate.
  • 3. Take up the slack Pull the loose strap tail through each slider, neck straps first, then chest.
  • 4. Two-finger check You should fit two fingers flat under every strap. Re-check after the first walk.

Good to Know Before You Buy

  • Made for everyday walking. This is a light daily harness, not a tactical one. It isn't suited to highly energetic or aggressive dogs that lunge hard, as the back panel is fairly narrow. Avoid sudden, forceful tugs and check the buckles are fully fastened before each walk.
  • Not chew-proof. If your dog likes to chew, keep the harness out of reach when it's not being worn.
  • Hand wash only. Wash with mild soap or a neutral detergent and let it air dry completely. Not machine washable.

Use the front chest ring for dogs that pull ahead. It turns them toward you when the leash goes tight. Use the back ring for dogs that already walk nicely.

Unfortunately, I didn't notice and ordered a size that was too small. This is the third time I've ordered a harness of this type. Excellent product! I renew my subscription every six months since the dog chews on the buckles a lot. The harness is constructed from two parts. The top part has a buckle for the strap, and the bottom part is located on the lower abdomen. The connection between the two harnesses is made by metal buckles. The dog's clothing and harness are secured using plastic buckles. The delivery arrived very quickly. The supplier did not agree to compensate me the full amount. A partial amount was refunded to me.

It's beautiful and fits perfectly following the instructions to measure my dog; I only had to adjust the lengths with what the harness allowed. The buckle is made of metal, the harness has two buckles, one metal and one plastic. The metal buckle is in the part where there is a handle to hold the dog; this part goes at the top, and where the plastic buckle is, it goes at the bottom. But in the end, you can put it on either side and it works the same way; it's just that you should hold your dog by the metal buckle for resistance.
